I am Laura Tannenbaum! For those of you who may not know, Tannenbaum is German for Christmas tree. Hence the name for my photography business is "Oh, Tannenbaum" like the classic holiday song.

I live in San Antonio, Texas with my  two dogs. Photography has been a passion of mine since college. I love traveling so I was constantly photographing landscapes and architecture everywhere I went. In 2018, I decided to turn my photography passion into a business and start capturing people with a special focus on families. 

​

My love of travel and landscape photography plays a big role in my photography style. The use of natural light plays a major role in my style. This means the outdoors is my studio and the sun is my main source of light. Most my photo sessions take place outdoors, unless you request an in-home family session or studio location. San Antonio has a lot of backdrops to offer, from urban to nature, and I want to use them all!
