My photography journey began with a simple desire to freeze moments in time, preserving the precious, fleeting experiences that make life so beautiful. Growing up, my family’s cherished photos were taken on film cameras and disposable cameras, giving me a deep appreciation for the raw, authentic feel of family life. This nostalgic influence shapes my photography style, allowing me to create images that feel both timeless and personal.

 

I draw a lot of inspiration from nature and sunlight, which play a significant role in how I photograph in different settings. Whether it’s the warm glow of a sunset, the soft light filtering through trees, or light streaming in through your bedroom window, I love using natural elements and your surroundings to enhance the beauty and emotion in each shot.

 

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my beloved rescue dog, Riker, and kitten, Loki. I enjoy traveling and being outdoors. Coffee and chocolate are the way to my heart. And for those who don't know, my last name, Tannenbaum, means Christmas Tree in German.
