These two Californian love birds were celebrating their one year anniversary with a trip to the Texas Hill Country. They were searching for a new place to call home. I think they'll fit right in!
I was beyond excited to receive my first inquiry from not only someone outside of any friend circles, but from someone out of state! Melyssa found me on Instagram and reached out to see if I would be available for a semi-last minute photo session.
The timing was perfect for their photos at Cibolo Nature Center. Despite it already being Fall, it was nearly 90 degrees the weekend they were visiting! Luckily the chose a location with a creek because I was definitely ready to wade through the cold water.
Since Cibolo was pretty busy, we explored other parts of the reserve before making our way into the very popular creek. It gave me the chance to photograph new areas, try out different poses, and of course, get to know this sweet couple! So, if you think Cibolo is only good for river photos in the summer, check out the variety this lil oasis has to offer!
They purchased their hats while visiting San Antonio and they became the perfect accessory for their photo session. It added a nice Texas touch to their images and matched the scenery so well. Plus they both look good in hats!
