Three Years Around the Sun & Shining Bright!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this darling girl who turned 3 earlier in the year.

We met at Walker Ranch Historic Landmark Park early on a Saturday morning (along with all the athletic people of San Antonio it seemed). It's a beautiful small park connected to other parks by the Salado Creek Greenway. You may spot deer and hawks and other furry creatures during your visit, too.
My favorite part of this park is the bridge. I was so excited to have my first photo session on this bridge and it turned out even better than I imagined! The tree coverage and colors of the leaves make this spot so pretty. (Yes,the color change is due to drought not fall, but I'll take it!)
Every year she takes a picture with her friend, Pete the Lamb, her stuffed animal from when she was a baby. This is the second child I've photographed who has this tradition and I love it! Maybe because I still own my large stuffed brown bear from when I was a baby. It's fun to see photos of me as a baby laying on top of it and as a toddler matching its size when today it seems so small beside me.
So if your children have favorite stuffed animals that are special to them and their childhood, feel free to bring them along for a few photos!
